I was first introduced to Alison by her fitness videos on Instagram. I began to follow her because I admired her simple, streamlined style and easy to follow moves. I have since worked with Alison in her fitness studio and it was a blast! Every week she would come up with new and challenging exercises. Alison knows just how to target muscle groups to get the results you want. I feel stronger and more confident. I know the strength I am building with Alison will serve me well as a runner and cyclist. Alison's knowledge and enthusiasm for fitness is inspiring!
I've been doing virtual training with Alison for about a year and a half now as I live in Florida and can't do in-person sessions. With Alison's help, I can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my life. I've always been pretty active but with Alison's workouts, motivation, and support, I've been able to take my fitness to the next level. I look better, run faster, and have gotten significantly stronger and more toned. Alison sends a new workout plan every month along with videos and helpful hints to make the most out of my workouts. She tailors the workouts to my schedule, sending shorter workouts during my busier months and longer workouts during slower times and offers suggestions for doing the moves on a variety of equipment incase I don't have a gym available or the gym doesn't have a specific piece of equipment. I have always been fairly healthy and fit but Alison has challenged me in a whole new way to reach my goals and surpass my expectations. She has taught me so much about how to exercise and how to do it right. I have never been one to want a personal trainer but Alison has completely changed my lifestyle.
Alison is incredibly talented at what she does. I met her at a wedding expo and luckily won the personal training sessions she was offering. After just the initial consultation, I knew I was going to sign up for more sessions with her! She somehow knows exactly what moves/workouts/weight limits are going to challenge me to reach the goals I told her I had. Even mid-session she'll gauge how I'm performing and adjust as necessary (always ensuring I'm being challenged and that I'm being safe). She's constantly trying to improve her own fitness and it's incredibly evident. For further info on some specifics for my sessions: I am active duty Air Force and have to maintain fitness for my job, but I also began taking pole fitness classes and wanted to improve. Additionally, 2015 was my first year doing half marathons and kept getting just under 2 hours, but couldn't seem to get much faster. I knew for all of the things that drive me I needed to break out of my plateau and find something that was going to improve my fitness which, for me, happened to be weight training (I avoided it like the plague). After having worked with Alison for just over a couple months now I have already found that I have drastically improved. Like I said, she knows just how to challenge me and find the path to those goals I so desire. Additionally, Alison has offered insight into the workouts I tell her I do outside of our sessions and passes along info to keep challenging me between our sessions.She often reminds me that I'm stronger than I think I am.
